Snow Day
As part of a Christmas gift from a Secret Santa (you know who you are and we thank you so very much) we took the kids to their first ever snow experience. We could not have asked the mutha of mothers-Mother Nature-to set up the day any better to play in our favor. The sno-park had a fresh layer of powder and the sun was out. The winds were mild and the roads were bare for a Saturday. We had a blast and the kids absolutely LOVED it. With Reno less than an hour away, we decided to have a buffet dinner to finish such an incredible day. The kids fell asleep in the car and we made it home to sleep in our own beds. Thank goodness for Starbizzle. Sounds crazy, to drive to and from Reno in a day, but Jeff said that's what his family used to do when he was a kid. But that's not how the Olegas rolled. We always stayed the night. Sometimes we stayed at Circus Circus, but usually, we stayed at the Sundowner. LOL!!! That's across the street. To an Olega, that's practically the same thing. No offense, Olegas, 'cause ya'll know it's true. Oh, memories...
